After learning about a completely new dating site in the Netherlands, I thought “let’s give it a try”. Said and done.
From registering to signing up went perfectly. The search function is also ideal, easy and thorough searching.
But well, I was in good spirits looking for perhaps the perfect match. Started searching within my region, certain age category, and with certain interests. Soon a wide selection of women emerged that met my search profile. The big advantage of this dating site is that everyone has a profile picture. One of the women who came up from my search was Paula. After viewing her profile, I thought: let me try to contact Paula. I sent her a “like” and because I didn't think that was enough, immediately followed up with a (private) message.
Paula responded quickly and it was decided to “chat” via the site. This works really ideally. After a while, we exchanged phone numbers and started dating.
We have now been together for almost 6 months and are very happy. Paula has a little one of 4 years from a previous relationship and even that cannot break us. We have already been away for a few nights, gone on vacation with the little man, and it seems like nothing can break us.
It is going so well that we are already living together with the little man. I firmly believe (with the tips we received from the mediator) that we will be together for a long time. You have no guarantees, but with common sense, you can go very far. Taking each other into account, giving each other space, doing fun things together, communicating; all these things can contribute to a long and happy togetherness.
